Monday, January 06 – Christmas Eve (6:00pm) – Evening worship service, removal and burning of the Yule log. Upon completion of the worship we will serve dinner for all attendees.
MIDNIGHT WORSHIP (Christmas Matins) at 12:00 am.

Tuesday, January 07 – Christmas (10:00am) – Christmas liturgy of St John Chrysostom. Upon completion of the worship we will read the greeting of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej to Serbian people at homeland and abroad.

Thursday, January 09 – Holy Apostole, Protomartyr and Archdecon Stephen (09:30 AM) Divine Liturgy, followed by the cutting of Slava cake. SREĆNA SLAVA!

Friday, January 10 – Serbian New Year’s Party (7:00pm) – The parish is organizing a pleasant evening with great music band from Chicago to celebrate the Serbian New Year. Tickets for the party are $20 per person, dinner is $8 per person. We invite you to join us and celebrate with your family and friends! Welcome!

Tuesday, January 14 – The Circumcision of our Lord Jesus Christ; St. Basil the Great (SERBIAN NEW YEAR) 09:30 AM – Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sunday, January 19 – Epiphany (10:00am) – Divine Liturgy, followed by a Great Blessings of Water. The holy water of Epiphany should be present in every Orthodox home. On this great holiday, Christ was baptized in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist, and for the first time the Holy Trinity was revealed to men. On this holy day, the faithful greet each other with: Hristos se javi! … Vaistinu se javi!

Monday, January 20 –Synaxis of the Holy Glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist John (9:30am) – Divine Liturgy will be followed by Slava cake cutting. SRECNA SLAVA!

Sunday, January 26 – Celebrating the First Serbian Archbishop SAINT SAVA (10:00am) – Divine Liturgy will be followed by Slava cake cutting. Slava Kumovi are Sasha and Daliborka Matic. Children Sunday School will prepare a recital program. Slava Kumovi will prepare a celebratory lunch for all attendees. Dear brothers and sisters come together to celebrate and commemorate our first Archbishop St. Sava. Our thanks to Matic family for accepting to be Kumovi. SRECNA SLAVA SVETI SAVA!

Sunday, February 09 –Synaxis of the Three Holy Hierarchs (10:00am) – Celebration of the Holy Three Hierarchs, our Church Slava- Divine Liturgy will serve His Grace Bishop Longin with other priests and deacons. We ask all parishioners if they are able to come before the beginning of the worship to jointly welcome His Grace. Slava Kumovi are Jovo and Mitra Zuza. Dear brothers and sisters, we welcome you to celebrate the patrons of our Holy Temple and our entire parish. Thanks to Kumovi and all of you, SRECNA HRAMOVNA SLAVA!

Saturday, February 22 – Memorial Saturday (9:30am) – Divine Liturgy for all our deceased. Upon completion of the worship we will hold the Parastos. Please, bring zito for sanctification, as well as a list of the deceased from your family. On this day all Orthodox Christians remember their ancestors who died. These are called Springtime All Souls Day, because a week later the great fast is starting.

Saturday, March 08 – Spiritual Evening (05:30 pm) – Evening Worship following by SPIRITUAL EVENING. Topics from the life of Orthodox Christians. We have organized this program and such evenings for better understanding of our religious way of life. Please join us for an informative spiritual dialogue.
